Excellent location and homeSara O’Brien - 16th May 2022
The Boardroom on Banksia was the best equipped home-away-from-home stay we have ever been too. Everything we could possibly need was included and had been thought of, showing us how well prepared and experienced both the owner and LJ Hooker Laurieton for guests. The house itself if positioned on a hill with the most amazing views from Dunbogan to Port Macquarie along the coast. The house was definitely the best part of our holiday- we lived on the deck looking out over the ocean.

The photo's and details on the listing are accurate. The view IS like that from the main deck and the top deck! This place is well appointed for a large family / a couple of families, or even a few couples / group of friends. Plenty of space for everyone from inside near the gas fire, to the outside decks or the downstairs BBQ and woodfired pizza oven (great if the weather turns cold and too windy for the deck). The garage was a great 'storage' room for our surfboards, fishing gear, etc.
Spectacular ViewsRebecca Jarman - 24th September 2021
Very comfortable home with everything you could possibly need. The views are simply stunning from the balcony and the roof top viewing deck is icing on the cake. There is a gas fire place, pizza oven and remote garage among some of the great features of this property. Located close walk to the beach and headland walk. A fantastic place to stay!!!
Breath taking views!Emily - 10th April 2021
2nd time staying here. Stunning views of the ocean and sunset. Comfortable homely feel with everything you need. Cheerful vibe. Loved the close proximity to the beaches to the north and south. Highly recommend!!

Delightful place to holidayShareen - 4th February 2021
Our family have enjoyed The Boardroom for three years now and we love it. The views are lovely and it is so refreshing to sit on the spacious verandah for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Two spaces for reading or watching tv allow for the needs of a bigger group. A highlight is watching the sunrise and set from the crows nest. We were well looked after by our landlord and LJHooker staff. Thank you!
Amazing!Ecomed - 10th January 2021
Had a great time relaxing over Christmas. Comfortable with some homely touches. Excellent view and spent a lot of time on the deck with a glass of wine or two.

What a great place for a family getaway! The house is full of surprises - lots of different areas to explore like the rooftop and the deck and the pizza oven in the backyard. The location is great with lovely views and lots of interesting walks nearby. I'd definitely recommend it.
Very relaxing. Wonderful viewsKeith - 17th September 2020
We loved our stay at The Boardroom. The expansive views are amazing. We saw many Whales from both the lookout and the deck. The house is well equiped and the beds are very comfortable. We went home refreshed and looking forward to staying again.
Amazing!Juliane - 3rd September 2020
What an amazing place! Such a perfect family house with a big garden and cubby house even, plus that incredible top observation deck - we stayed in Winter and saw whales swimming past daily. We were able to walk out the door and were straight on coastal walking trails and the closest beach is a 5min walk away where we enjoyed playing in the rock pools with our little boy. A lot of thoughtful touches throughout the house. An amazing experience!
Stunning ViewsDorota - 10th March 2020
Great place to stay, close to the beach, with a rooftop to enjoy the stunning views.
Fantastic LocationBron1909 - 3rd February 2020
Great place to spend your family holiday. Ample accomodation with everything you need.. Enjoy the stunning ocean views as you eat out on the front entertaining verandah or make your own pizza in the pizza oven out the back. Great backyard for the kids to run around in. Relax down at rainbow beach or catch a spot of fishing... My family and I have stayed at the Boardroom on Banksia several times now, and we will definitely be back again.
Awesome houseSue - 2nd November 2019
Just recently my family were in Port Macquarie for the Biannual Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome Conference, a severe disability that my eldest daughter has had for 37 years. She is the eldest surviving in Australia/New Zealand with this syndrome and every 2 years we meet somewhere different to learn new treatments etc. From the moment we opened the front door we were impressed by the size and decor of The Boardroom on Banksia. We had a party of 7 adults (1 severely disabled) and 1 toddler and not once did we feel we were stepping on each other’s toes. The house and yard were clean and tidy with a fabulous fort for the little one in the backyard, I’m just sorry we weren’t staying long enough to enjoy the outdoor area, bbq and wood fired pizza oven. But why spend time in the backyard when the fantastic view from the front and side deck was amazing. We were able to watch whales everyday breaching and flapping their fins in play. To add extra excitement up another floor is a viewing deck, wow just wow, we were truly spoilt. All of the living spaces were ample size with beautiful furnishings and the kitchen was large and well stocked with crockery, cutlery, glassware, cheese platters, pots and pans, you name it it was there. The coffee addict in me was excited by the Nescafé pod coffee machine plus different size plungers with coffee provided if needed. The house had so much to offer in entertainment with games, puzzles, DVD’s, tennis gear, reading material. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows and we hired our linen from Camden Laundry that was delivered ready for our arrival after a 9 hour drive from Queensland. The white goods and appliances were all of good quality and there was lots of added extras in the kitchen fridge and pantry available for the guests to use as well, a little extra surprise bonus I have never encountered before. The only problem we had was the inability to put our wheelchair access vehicle in the driveway to get our daughter out as it was too steep but we just used the street instead, problem solved. All in all Bonny Hills is a beautiful location and our accomodation choice 10/10. Hats off to the owners for providing such a restful place for my family to return too at the end of each long day. I wish we would have booked to stay longer
Wonderful family holiday houseLinda - 8th September 2019
We had a two night stay for a family gathering nearby. The Boardroom had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Great location and amazing views from the little top deck. Great property managers too, very helpful.
A great family getawaySam01 - 26th April 2019
An absolute fabulous place for a getaway with the family. Stunning views from all aspects on the first level. A quick walk to the beach. The owners supplied the little things that you might forget when getting away, such as tennis racquets, and even a welcome package full of those little things that you need before you can get to the shops. I will definitely be returning.

very well appointed property in a quiet location only a very short walk to the beach and easy drive to Laurieton or Port Macquarie. Good communication from managing agents.
